Ok, wow I haven't posted in 2 weeks... guess I've been busy. I owe an update from last week but first I want to talk about tonight while it's fresh in my head. I played 2 hands and was out in the first 10 minutes. I normally never go out that quickly. But oh well. The hand I took a huge hit was the first one I played- Q,J. I limp for 200- almost raised it to 600 but I've been playing a little tighter lately. Someone else raises to 800 and Debbie calls and I was like ok, why not. So there is 2600 in the pot (3 callers plus the big blind- I was the little blind). The flop comes out, 9c,10d,Jc. I hit top pair plus the open ender. The guy that raised bets 600 and Debbie calls. I wanted to get out the draws so I make it 2600. The guy calls and Debbie folds. Turn is a Qc. I hit 2 pair but now a K or an 8 makes a straight and 2 clubs is a flush. I check knowing my 2 pair is no good. The guy bets 600 again. lol 600 into a 8400 pot. I'm getting 14 to 1 on my money so I laughed at the tiny bet and decide to call to try to hit my boat. River was a 2c. Now there are 4 clubs on the board. I don't have a club in my hand. But I got stupid and bet it like I did. I figured if he had pocket K's or A's or just the straight without a club that he would fold to a bet. Granted I only bet 1200 into 9600 pot but I think if he didn't have a club he would've folded. He thought and thought and I was like wow he doesn't have a club. Then he goes all in for 2k more. I knew my hand was no good so I pitched it. He flips over K,10clubs he turned the straight flush. Debbie was like thanks for raising I had the K and would've stayed in because I hit the straight. That's just stupid thought if she would've called a bet on the river with just a straight and no club. So yeah I took a big hit that hand... a little over 5k.
Very next hand I get A,K and push all in for 2100. Remember blinds were only 100/200 and there was about 700 in the pot. I was just stealing what was in there or if someone wanted to call they were up against my good hand. I was hoping it looked like I was on tilt so I would get one caller. Well Debbie calls. She flips over A,2 clubs. I was like wow... then a duece hits on the flop or 2 and she's calling for clubs and I'm like Debbie you don't even need clubs your 2 wins! Her 2 held up and I was out. I was like wow what a donkey. A,2 really? she was like but they were suited! There was only 2800 in that pot. It cost her 2100 to win 2800... She was only getting 1.33 to 1! it was an awful call. I could've understood if she said ah, I just think you're on tilt and trying to steal the blinds and if she thought her Ace was good... but no that wasn't the reason. The reason was THEY WERE SUITED... I hate that reason. But whatever. It's free poker. I don't really care anymore. I left and went to the mall. Now I'm back waiting for Brian to go out. Luckily I have my computer. I can catch up on blogging...
